A fascinating account of one man’s journey to find his path and how he became a Wiccan High priest. It contains material not often found in other accounts including aspects of magic and sexuality. I read it all in one night!
‘Both of us recognized many of the elements of this book straight away. This is a story familiar to anyone who has walked the pagan path. A story based on genuine reminiscence mixed with fiction, entertaining, educating and spiritually awakening. We highly recommend it for the beginner to the path, and the seasoned walker with the scars from blisters on their spiritual feet.’
Take the hand of Corin Thistlewood and embark on the first steps of the pagan path. An absolutely wonderful book and a truly fascinating account of a journey into paganism.
Part one of a fantastic trilogy!
A fascinating blend that combines the esoteric, ethereal combination of time old beliefs but in a modern day setting where many meanings of true nature are often lost and forgotten. Touchwood Chronicles draw you into such beliefs and practices where you simply need to continue to next chapter to see the progression of this life long exploration. A modern man finding his true nature and purpose.
It made me just want to keep reading. And pulled me in to find out more about what corin had learnt on his way through life. And how things can twist and turn to shape the the people we meet - and how they shape each other. Loved ever bit. Roll on book 2.
Brilliant last book in the trilogy. It had me intrigued and gripped all the way through. These 3 books are a must read. They take the reader off into experience, imagination and truth where you don’t know fact from fiction but don’t care cos it a wonderful adventure.
The Touchwood Chronicles - Blue Moon Rising, is the final part of this glorious trilogy, awash with spirituality and ancient Celtic lore.
Here, we find that a rebellious contingent, somewhat understandably, wish to seek revenge from humans who have caused damage to the natural world, including the threat from rising seas.
We meet alchemist Uncle Dafydd in this final chapter and discover the truth about the Tuatha de Danann's megalithic monuments. And if that somehow isn't enough to make you immediately pick up this book, the rescuing of Pan might!
Corin Thistlewood has done it again, an incredible book where the veil between the Otherworld and reality is at it's thinnest.
This trilogy is a must for all those who practise or have an interest in Shamanism, Druidry, Witchcraft or Wicca, and to lovers of Celtic lore everywhere.
I just finished it. I thoroughly enjoyed it, although I didn't pick out too much of the fiction in it, it was all pretty convincing.
I thought it was really great how you put the lessons in the story, and therefore you are passing your lessons on in an entertaining way.
With stirring themes of spirituality and a cast of characters that wouldn’t be out of place in a fantasy novel, Corin Thistlewood’s new book is a must-read for anyone who has ever wandered off the beaten path and explored new ways of living…
